How good is Bradley Central this year?

Too early to say at this point. With a good win over Coffee County and a last second loss to Riverdale. These two also played each other last night and I believe that Riverdale won the game.

 

Bradley lost only one starter from last year, Brandi Scott, who signed with Hiwasee College. They returned the rest of the squad and have good height in the front line in Tambra Crowe at 5-11, Lindsey Jackson at 5-11, Tiffany Buckalew at 6-0 and Kristen Reynolds at 5-9. Jackie Pickel stands 5-7 at point and should have a break out year. Buckalew transferred in from Cleveland High and is also a gunner. Threw in 26 against Riverdale on Saturday night.

 

The Bearettes are picked by coaches and media as the favorite to win District 5-AAA.

I agree with your post Baconbreath. I think the Bearettes have what it takes to go all the way this year. Tiffiny will definitly be an asset for them along with Jackie, Tambra, Lindsey & Kristen (who is playing with a bad ankle right now that she hurt @ Mt. Juliet a few weeks ago). They seem to really mesh together and the rest of the girls can come in the game and keep things going. I'm excited about this season. Even though they lost to Riverdale last Saturday, they fought until the end. Go Bearettes!!

Whats up with Dalton? Any playing time for her? Also- what about Jolley?

Dalton will come in when Coach moves Pickel to the shooting guard position or gives her a breather. Jolley comes in a the two and plays a little point also but her indecisiveness keeps her on the beach most of the game.

Wow- Sounds like a plan to me. She is a lucky girl- The BEACH is where I'd like to be most of the time too, especially instead of in a hot sweaty gym!
