Can the Lady Dawgs achieve a .500 record for the first time in forever?

Milan has a good shot at being 500. They must 1stlearn how to win close games. It will take a few losses to do that. Trenton for example they were down 5 with a couple of min. left. Trenton was struggling. Milan had several unforced t/o. Most of Milans girls did not even realize they had a shot at winning that game. Most were happy to be close. When close isn't god enough wins will come. Some talent is there, but there is much more on th way.

The Lady Dawgs have a chance for a .500 record. They held out to beat Humboldt in a close game, and had several chances to beat Trenton. Underclassmen (Carter, Seyerle, Algee, Messer) will be important factors in the season. I haven't seen any of the district teams yet, but think Milan has a shot to finish outside the cellar (fifth place) they've been in for a while. And if it doesn't happen this year, it will happen soon.

It is a good thing to dream....I don't think that Milan will be state championship material in 5 years, much less 2. To make a statement like that shows how little you know about girls basketball.

When was the last time you saw our middle school play? They were 14-2 last year and are 11-0 this year. The closest game being 45-22. The talent is way up at milan!
