WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR GREAT QB MICKEY SWINDLE FROM LAST YEAR MACON? I HEARD SOME TALK OF HIM MOSTLY NEGATIVE AT THE GAME I THOUGHT HE WAS GREAT.I'M A MACON TIGER FAN FROM SOUTH KNOXVILLE SO WHAT HAPPENED TO MICKEY?

HIS COUSION TOLD ME THAT HE JUTS QUIT I DONT KNOW FOR SURE BUT THATS WHAT I HEARD

Mickey left the team before the season ever started due to personal reasons. He was a good quarterback and also started at linebacker, so I'm sure he would have helped us out. I'm gonna guess he's going to regret quiting once he's out of school, but it's a decision he made and will have to live with. There are no hard feelings towards Mickey and I'm sure all the football players wish him the best of luck in whatever he does in the future.

mickey lee left on his own accord, it had nothing to do with anyone associated with the football program. he said he simply did not want to play anymore. he is doing fine, working and going to school. i missed seeing him play with all my heart, but it was a decision he made on his own. :D but i loved watching those TIGERS RULE the fields this year. they were awsome and i will never forget this year....:lol: region4 3a champs...............WAY TO GO TIGERS!!!!!!!

      Im more of a Basketball follower than football and like I said we play what we have, there is no going and recruiting or even talking kids into transferring…..and to rebut about Memphis teams in finals I’ve watched Memphis East and Penny Hardaway with the enrollment of a single A team play up and dominate any and all challengers for years! They aren’t the only ones either Mike Miller and son at Germantown put together that super team a couple years ago that ran through the rest of the state! Other teams from Memphis or Chatt or Nash or any large populated area pop up and are relevant out of nowhere every year because they get an influx of talent be it from a new coach or AAU affiliations it happens in football also just like any other sport! I hope these two schools that close join together and get to play the team you support, then you may see it differently! I find it funny some of you think recruiting and resources don’t matter . The county schools get very little funding also but you don’t want to get me started on that part!

      In a total classless move, Coach Simmons once again shows his true colors. Waits till the day after school is out to let everyone know he is leaving. Fails up to a community college job after a lackluster 2 year span at GH. And do not tell me about the state run that saved a sub .500 season and plenty of whippings by Cookeville and Lebanon.  Looks like the girls job at GH is cursed. Terrible MS program/coaches feeding what is turning out to be a joke of a HS team.

      I have no idea who your team is, but Memphis and other Shelby Co. schools have hardly made a dent, if you’re talking Game 15 appearances. Outside of a couple by Whitehaven, I can’t recall the last team in a final.
