In region seven, Northwest's starting 140 is out with an elbow injury. I also heard that the 103's for Northeast and Clarksville High from last year decided not to come back out this year. Both of them had a lot of potential. Can anyone fill in details.

Can anyone out west fill us in on why Speroff is out? What year is he? He is tough and should be a contender for the state title this year.

Speroff will be back after Christmas. He is practicing with the team, and he should be ready for states. He was not injured. He had some off-mat trouble.

Lot of talk on this board about kids not wreslting due to "off the mat troubles". Is this a new phase?

I don't know. I wouldn't count on it. Coach Cottrell is the kind of coach that ends "off the mat troubles" quick.

Yeah he is a great coach he makes champions on and off the mat bet speroff will think twice before makeing a bad decision
