I'm trying to get my scoresheet ready for Friday & what I have from "The Tennessean" looks questionable.

Thanks score3. I have only 15 spots on my sheet and that really helps. The rosters from "The Tennessean" sometimes have last year's players & wrong #'s. See you Friday.

A good place to find team rosters would be on the team pages here on coacht. All you need is somebody to enter them. I've entered most of the Maury County teams it only takes about 5 minutes and anybody can do it.We have this great site all we need is participation. If somebody from every school will get involved you can get all the information about high school sports in the state and won't need the Tennessean not to print news about your schools.

It's a good idea dbrady, but some coaches have asked that I not enter that info. I have to find rosters wherever I can. As you stated, anybody can enter that info so that leads to erroneous rosters on coacht as well. I check for rosters on coacht and compare them to "The Tennessean" rosters, as well as checking the school sites for any info. Unfortunately this leads to a combination of outdated and sometimes partially incorrect data. It's frustrating for me as I try to have a correct roster before going to games so as not to bother the official scorer at the game site. I usually arrive an hour before the start of the girls' games just to get the rosters, but some teams won't give them to me. That's the way it goes sometimes and I do the best I can to get everyone's name correct for my reports here on coacht.
