Exchange Club Classic (Bradley vs. Giles)

On December 20th, Giles County (AA State Champs) will faceoff against Bradley Central (runner up in AAA to #10 White Station). The game is being held at Martin Methodist College. Reserved seats go on sale Monday, December 15th at GCHS. Cost is $10. Cost at the door will be $6.

 

Does anyone have any thoughts on this matchup. From the sound of things, Bradley is red hot...Pickel and Hare are shooting the lights out (as always). Giles County is beginning to look more and more like the team of last year that brought the hardware home. I know I can't wait for this matchup.

If Bradley can outrebound Giles County they will win. This game comes down to the boards...because if Suiter and Pugh can pull some rebounds then Pickel and Hare will take care of the points. I say Bradley by 3.

I can't really say who I think will win but I know that it is going to be a battle from the beginning to the end . I am a diehard Giles county fan and I hope they will be able to pull it out. If Tyler and Shay are hot then they will win because Tyler can step up with everything he's got but if he has no help then it will be a loss . I know that the Bobcats will be hyped for the game and so will I.

Well said 2live...all of the Bobcats must step up and play to their full potential. Tyler will step up in big games and he will be able to play with the best of them. I agree with linebacker, if Giles County continues to rebound like they have been, then Bradley will have the upper hand. From what I have heard about Pickel and Hare, they can flat drain the deep ball. Giles County has two shooters that can hang with the best of them...when they are on. I am just curious to find out if Bradley can run the floor with GC...not many teams can. Columbia couldn't and look what it got them. One thing is for certain, this will be a hard fought battle and the winner will definately earn it.

Bradley will have to play better than they have been. Seems like they are playing uninspired. But this is the kind of game that will inspire them. There maybe a hard lesson here for Bradley. Its very hard to just push a button and play as a team very well. But dont bet against them!!!

I'm picking Bradley by at least 5. I believe in big games that guard play makes the difference. Outside of White Station Bradley has the best backcourt. Also Bradley will have the edge in the coaching department.
