Im willing to say the best game of the year showcasing the best tennessee has to offer. Regardless of classification, regular season matchups, playoff matchups, or state finals. The best two coached teams with some of the best talent the state has to offer. The superbowl of tennessee high school football. My hats off to Blount County!!

I saw somewhere that the lady chargers will be matched-up with the cleveland lady raiders in a christmas tourney. If this is so, this will be a good december test for central. Our area of girls play in AA is below average. Cleveland girls are an established AAA title contender. The lady chargers will have to be able to win back to back games against teams of this caliber to be able to win it all!!

Goodness guys, Morgan wasnt "born no yesterday". There is not a girls team in the state, from a to aaa to the worst to the state champs, that DONT have drama!!! You cant have as successful a career as a man who, IF HE WISHES, could rival most wins as any coach in the country!!! I hope he reconizes this an puts in another 10 years! The game got out of hand emotionally in a hurry in the 2nd quarter. Officiating had little to do with this. Both teams lost composure and it had an effect on the level of play. It happens sometimes and its everybodys fault. Losing focus will eventually cost you the game. And this time of year it will end your season!

Going 7-3 for the year in this region is nothing to be ashamed about. McMinn played hard and they had NO players who had a criminal charge against them representing the school! We are proud here! I would not trade this tribes season for another team that did make the playoff. However, they did finish in 5th place in the region. Thats the facts. McMinn does NOT want realignment of this region just to get in the playoffs. That kind of thinking is for people who make excuses. McMinn would rather go toe to toe with who they have and EARN the right to go to the playoffs. McMinn wants no sympathy. They will earn it! BCrising, you have what you want. You should be happy!

Can you win consistantly with inferior talent. That is what makes a career coach! My hat is off to coach Davis! Give him back to back good talented classes and Polk could earn a ring!

I wasn't calling anybody out on this. I just wanted to make sure I was reading this right! BTW I would be one parent that would NOT sign this. Evidently, I would have to move to another county. Polk and McMinn Central are both strong teams in 3a this year. Good luck to both teams!

Excuse me for the interuption but i cant believe what im reading...Are you saying that if a parent doesn't sign a form allowing "random drug testing", their child can NOT participate in extracurricular activities? I dont see how this would be possible.
