What do people think will happen in this game?

This will be our hardest game thus far. And as a team we havent came together for an entire game yet. And if were going to come together as a team, nows the time to do so, its a district game and Lenior City will come to play. And I think if we come out pump and ready to go, play "TEAM BALL" , We should be fine in the outcome. And if we as a team dont come out and execute the way we should it will be close, "real close."

IN THE PAST LC HAS GIVEN AC A BETTER GAME AT LENOIR CITY. AC SEEMS TO HAVE TROUBLE IN THE GET GO AT LENOIR CITY, AND THIS COULD CAUSE PROBLEMS BECAUSE LC THIS YEAR IS A TEAM WHO FEEDS OFF EACH OTHER, AND IF THEY GET GOING EARLY THEN IT WILL BE TOUGH FOR AC TO PULL OUT THE WIN. IF AC COMES OUT EARLY THEN IT WILL BE TOUGH FOR LC TO COMEBACK FOR THEY HAVENT HAD ANYONE STEP UP FROM BEHIND THE ARCH AND THIS COULD CAUSE SOME PROBLEMS IF AC DECIDES TO COLLAPSE. I LOOK FOR THE LC AC SERIES TO SPLIT THIS YEAR, WITH THIS ONE GOING TO LC, BUT LC DOES NOT HAVE A GOOD TRACK RECORD AT AC...

AS COACH E SAID, AC PLAYED THE BEST GAME THEY HAVE PLAYED ALL SEASON, AND LC PLAYED THE WORST GAME THEY HAVE PLAYED ALL SEASON. AC WAS HITTING SHOTS, PLAYING EXCELLENT DEFENSE, AND HAD A WELL ROUNDED SCORING ATTACK WITH THEIR LEADER ONLY HAVING 12 POINTS, THEY HIT LC FROM ALL DIRECTIONS, AND LOOKED LIKE THE BEST TEAM IN THE DISTRICT....

 

FOR LC, THEY SHOT THE BALL TERRIBLE, THEY DID REBOUND WELL TONIGHT, THAT IS ABOUT IT. THEY HAD 4 GUYS SHOW UP (KYLE, B, VANCE, BLAKE), AND THE REST WERE IN LA LA LAND. LC NEVER GOT THEIR OFFENSE GOING AND IT SHOWED, THAT WAS DO IN LARGE PART TO AC'S PRESS. BUT IT IS STILL EARLY IN THE SEASON, AND I DONT THINK ANYONE KNOWS WHAT WILL BE THE OUTCOME IN THE DISTRICT. LC HAS A BIG GAME WITH KINGSTON NEXT WEEK, AND IT WILL BE TIME FOR LC TO PROVE SOMETHING.

Hey AC just came out and played some great team ball last night. LC was a lot bigger than AC but they really didn't dominate in the paint. This is the first game that AC has played good. They came from the tip and just dominated. It was close before the half then AC extended the lead to 10 at the half. In the second half they came out ready to role. They broke the lead out to about 15 or 16 in a few minutes then Michael Mott hit three 3's in a row and that was your ball game.

The game makes me wonder whether LC is ready to compete with good teams...they've got a lot of talent, but talent isn't enough. You've gotta want to beat somebody and you've gotta be a warrior to step up to the next level. It's great to have potential, but potential isn't really worth much if you can't use it to step out on the floor and kick butt. In the past couple of games, LC hasn't looked like a group that wants to do much kicking. They are nice kids, though...and maybe that's a problem. Or maybe it is just too early in the season to draw many conclusions about them.
