The Delk Brothers at Northside

Anyone have a clue as to how they have been performing?

Reginald is doing well and Richard is doing ok.I'm from Jackson and I play middle school ball.I go to a lot of Northsides games,they are a little overrated i think.

you mean to tell me that someone outside of giles co thinks they are over rated....

jmsballa im not sure you realize the talent yet, you really have to consider the quality of teams that northside plays... they have a very tough schedule and these boys are only juniors. while i still feel that tyler smith of giles co is the best junior in the state, the delks are defitnitly right behind tyler. 15 years of me watching high school basketball cant possibly be that wrong, during those 15 yrs i also had the great opportunity to see their uncle tony delk perform numerous times. i strongly feel that the twins will perform better at the college level than they do now...

they both are lighting it up and turning a lot of heads while they do it. they are two really great players and need to get scholarships. i know they are only juniors but... man they are good. they have their weaknesses like any player, but all in all they are fun to watch.

I went to the Jackson Southside game and they shoot way to many 3's.They have explosiveness they need to take it to the basket more often.I see there talent but they aren't right now playing up to there capabilities.

JMSballa33 we had a bad game against South Side. Wait till Jan 8 when we play again. Did you see the Ridgeway game where we beat the runner-up in state last year or did you see the Bolivar game where we beat Bolivar the team that barely lost to Giles Co in substate last year. South Side was one game that preformed poorly. THey are 7-1 and they have played a very tough schedule thus far. I would like to see a team that has played a harder schedule. Ramone Williams right now is shining for us. He is averaging 20 points a game. Reginald and Richard are not playig poorly but they have not found their groove. North Side has a very good team that could easily go to state if they play consistently. THursday night we have a home game against Liberty who we played poorly aginst the first time because 3 of Liberty;s players were on our JV last year so when we would call a play they could counter it. THen Friday we play at Ridgeway in what should be a great game. THen we are off til after Christmas.

NSIndiansFan you need to tell your team to take it to the basket more.Northside dominates on the boards yall have 4 guys that could average 7 or 8 rebounds a game.Northside when they are shooting good can beat anyone.They have the talent to beat White Station and win state.All I'm saying is that when their shot is off they keep shooting.If they took the ball to the goal when they are off they will probably go home with a W.I'm a Northside fan also, they are my favorite team around Jackson.Tommorow will be a closer game than the last between Northside and Liberty.Liberty is a young and very talented team.Don't be surprised if Liberty is in the game at the end.
