Stacy Montgomery

I was just wondering if anyone had any information on her? Anything would be helpful. Jersey numbers from high school or college, stats, or remembrances of games you saw her play in. She went to Collinwood High School and went to the State Tournament (I believe) three times in her high school career, and won one State Tournament title (in '88). I know her college career was cut short, but man she was a great player. Please help me in any way that you can.

I can get you all her college stats in about a week. Gone on vacation but will be back at Freed come fri or sat. We keep all of the old player stats that have played under Coach Neal.

I can tell you Stacy was not in high school in '88. She was still in jr high. She didn't start high school until '88-'89. Her older sister Stephanie did play on the team that won the state championship in '88. She was a great player too. Her daughter Brianna Thompson is a freshman at C'wood this year and is improving every game.

I thought Brianna's mom's name was Shauna? I really don't know... but I do know that Stacy is a great player (still) and is an awesome coach as well. I played for her in AAU and we had many one-on-one games. I can't wait to play her again. Love ya' Stacy!

There are 3 Montgomery sisters. Shauna is the youngest and has no kids. Stephanie is the oldest and Stacy is the middle sister.

I think you are reffering to stephanie and got her and stacy confused. Stacy played at freed- Hardmen and collinwood but not in 88. Stephanie played at collinwood when they won the state in 88. But she didn't play in college.
