The Virginia Duals has 3 divisions listed on their website: National, American, and Black & Blue. What division will Bradley be in and what is the difference between each division?

I think Bradley will be in the American division.

The divisions are to indicate the level of competition expected. The National is the toughest, American next toughest and Black and Blue for everyone else. Having talked to some Bradley parents, they are not pleased they were placed in the American Division. They felt that TN wasn't getting any respect. They desired to be in the National, but the tournament dictates who goes where.

This will be Bradley's third trip to the Virginia Duals. The first time was 2001, Bradley was placed in the National Division and placed 5th. The second time Bradley attended this tournament was last year and they competed in the American Division and finished 2nd. So maybe the third time will be a charm. Good luck Bears.

Having seen both Great Bridge, Va. and Bradley this year, Bradley can hang with anyone. In my opinion Bradley would beat Great Bridge and that's a match I'd love to see.
