Where: Middle Tennessee State University Recreation Center

 

Weigh-ins: 9:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. wrestling starts at 11:30 a.m.

Classes: 125, 133, 141, 149, 157, 165, 174, 184, 197, 235, Hwt

 

Match

Length: Periods will be 3-2-2 in length. Overtime will consist of

A One minute period followed by a 30 second Tie Breaker

If necessary.

 

Rules: NCAA rules will apply with the exception of riding time

 

Awards: Medals for 1st – 4th place. Team plaques for 1st place-

Third place. Most Outstanding Awards for Lightweights

(125-165) and Heavyweights (174-Hwt)

Who all is expected to be at this tournament, and what level of competition do you expect?

What age groups are wrestling?

Competition should be pretty good! I know at least Vanderbilt, MTSU, Cumberland U, and UT-Knoxville will be there. The age level is Open Division this means post high school. Singlet is preferred, headgear is optional.

Will Marion Military be wrestling in this tournament, also, what if your unaffiliated with a team how do you go about registering?
