girls vs.guys?

Should girls be allowed to wrestle guys? or should there be a completely different league just for girls? Remember, soccer started the same way.Girls started out playin with the guys but soon evolved into thier own league. What do you think?

I think girls should evolve into their own league because if they aspire to be a world class female wrestler then they will already have to be once they get older because they then are seperated from the boys division

For a different reason than has been stated, I feel girls should have a seperate division. The reason is that women's wrestling in college is Freestyle wrestling. They should be wrestling Freestyle throughout the year to better prepare themselves for college.

Does anyone know how many girls are currently wrestling in high school in TN. How many start? What teams do they compete for? Thanks.

Hey sly. Take it easy. First of all it was a joke. Second of all, all of these questions have been previously answered, i.e. the 6 PAGES of bickering on page two. As for an answer to your question Northeast high has a 215 and 140 pounder, both females.

cb56. OK, thats two girl wrestlers but I have a feeling there must be a couple more, but if the answer of my questions has been answered already please copy and paste them for me because haven't seen them yet. I'm just trying to see if there is really a large number of girls that are interested in wrestling or if this is some sort of internet blitz by a few dads of female wrestlers and their daughters. I have only heard of two girls wrestlers this year other than the two you mentioned. So thats 4 so far.
