OK CCS, beat Temple, McCallie, Howard, and Dalton??...

Alright... let me rate these "strong teams" for you...

1. Temple=No Good/No shot at state I have no idea where you pulled that from

2. Howard=Even worse than Temple/poorly coached, and not that good even with good coaching

3. McCallie=Terrible, one of the worst teams in the area

4. Dalon=No One cares because they are a Half an Hour awayin GEORGIA/their school is 55% hispanic and Hispanics are not good at basketball... now if you beat them in soccer I might be impressed

"Howard is a good team"

That's what you said on another post on this board, staynskool. And now you're saying they're terrible, worse than Temple. At least stick to something.

Even if you say CCS schedule isn't amazing, they've still beat everybody from TN that they've played. They haven't had a bad loss, unlike almost every other team around here.

Dude! How can you say that Temple is "No Good" and that they have "No Chance" at State? Yes, they've lost some games -- but they are better than you give them credit. I believe they can make it to state -- if they play their best in district and region games. They'll no doubt probably have to beat Grace and CCS to get there -- but it can happen. The Crusaders have the potential to be a great team -- if they will start their games like they finish them (with lots of intensity and tenacity).

I hope the Temple team proves me right in the next few weeks and gives it there all in the remaining games of the season and in the playoffs. If they prove you right in the rest of their games -- then I'll say, "Oh well, there's always next year!"

Dude, your statements are so biased and stupid when you comment on Temple and Skogan, that you cant be taken seriously, see, if you read this post, you will realize that it isnt just me that has realized that Temple is awful

CCS fans-you're going to have to learn that in a city-wide poll people are never going to give you the respect you deserve. Even back when Holwerda and Trimiew were seniors(two of the best players in the state that year) and they were handling their business on their way to winning the state championship people still didn't want to give them credit just because CCS is single A. CCS was beating Howard, Soddy, Dalton, Red Bank, Atlanta teams, Alabama teams, etc. and people still said they weren't proven. The only way you're going to get the respect is to win the championship(even then you may not). This always happens, all the AAA schools think they would kill you because you're A. St. Joseph's is ranked #2 in the nation right now(behind also undefeated Stanford), if the people who made up the real polls thought with the same frame of mind as some of you on here I'm sure you'd have some pretty ridiculous teams ahead of St. Joes just because St. Joes hasn't played "the toughest" schedule. Get real

If St. Joes played and ACC teams schedule then there is no way they would still be undefeated.... 7 of the 9 teams in the ACC are in the RPI top 50... and you have to play each team twice... just the brutalness of playing a really good team every night of the week takes its toll... thats why the winner of the ACC tournament has gone on to the final four over 50% of the years it has been in existance(the ACC).... think about that...St.Joe's is good no doubt about it... but they couldn't hang in the ACC

i disagree, st. joes could very much hang in the ACC, they have the best backcourt in the nation with jameer nelson and delonte west, and nelson is the best player in college basketball this year, there is no one that has been able to guard him conisistently, although i do agree that they would not be undefeated in the acc, they could definitely hang

all i really meant is that they would not still be undefeated... while Nelson and West are currently one of the best back-courts in the nation i can't say they are "The Best"... yes Nelson is The Best guard in the country, and probably the best player(Emeka Okeafor might ahve something to say about that), but he hasn't had to play teams with as good a starting point guards as the ACC guards have... i doubt his numbers would be as great were he playing, Chris Duhon, Jarrett Jack/Will Bynum, Raymond Felton, and John Gilchrist, for 8 games per season....When you have as many great players at the guard position as the ACC as a whole does... they tend to cancel out each others games... and besides Im a little biased but i feel Ga. Tech has the best back-court in the Nation in that they have Jarrett Jack, B.J. Elder(who is now lighting it up again), Marvin Lewis, and Will Bynum who could all start for most any team in the country... tough to beat that kind of depth, and only Lewis is leaving the team after thjs season

    • Im asking everyone to keep roy whited and his family in your prayers. Coach whited won back to back state championships at white county in 98-99. He is very well liked and respected in this area. For those of you that dont know he went missing 3 days ago. No one knows where he is. His truck was found in a rural part of the county. Thanks again. We are all very concerned.
    • West would be a good team to get behind if they can pull it off again like last year. That championship game last year was awesome.
    • I say that because he stepped out of a MUCH better situation on his own than he would see at least his first 3 years at DCA and it would take at least that much to bring him back to coaching. There are other fish in the sea, but again money talks. Need to fix the girls hoops too. Now I'll try again. Who has Pierce locked in for his staff? Hearing a McGavock man but not the Iceman.
    • I’ve heard mostly good things from the gridiron. Lots of optimism. It sounds like the portal has mostly helped, though there are a few expected defections. Comeback year!
    • Rudesell 1 year at Crockett. Coach Tate 2 weeks a Bradford. South Gibson supposedly going with jcs middle school coach. Which isn’t who I thought would get it, I know the top 2 was between him and Obion girls head coach.
