Rabbitt
just think......if the state tournament was combined like it use to be how tough it would be this year. i can remember back when i was in high school some of the first round matches were two wrestlers capable of being in the state champions. one year in the round of 32 tim voiles vs. james vance. another year round of 32 damon floyd vs. travis adams. i was sitting around and trying to think who would be in the state finals if it were combined.....this is what i come up with. 103-pucket vs. doster 112-manson vs. coleman 119-cordell vs. simpson 125-james vs. hiller 130-cleveland vs. manson 135-leen vs. lane 140-smith vs. baker 145-blair vs. davis 152-marable vs. manley 160-gibson vs. scott 171-blackmon vs. knox 189-marable vs. campbell 215-walsh vs. inman hwt.-forte vs. schnell i know that maybe 3/4 or 1/2 of these may not have made it if it were one tournament, because when you group a bunch of good wrestlers together, there are always going to be a bunch of upsets, and i know that when it was all one state tournament there were all kinds of upsets in every weight. its always fun to imagine what if....... bnroo
140lbs hayduk from ND beat baker in Brad finals 103lbs adamson ND 215 meredith ND beat Bailey brad finals
Rabbitt
hayduk could easily be one of the best 140lbs. and the ND 103 is tough also. there are a bunch of guys that could be named in each weight that could easily be state finalist. these are just my opinion, and im know wrestling genious. im just going from what ive seen and heard this year. some wrestlers are better at the begining of the season than they are at the end. its all about who peaks at the right time, and who can handle the pressure. mrsoddydaisy
Rabbitt, your list is pretty good, but your post was at 1:33 p.m....Get a job or go to school or wrestling practice or something.....just kidding. Do you think the mighty Trojans have any chance to beat Bradley at the duals? Steve will have to shuffle the lineup some like he did 2 years ago. ru4mocs
Who did you have beating West at 130?
Bulldogs76
HWT Bates beat Forte 3-1 i don't see Forte being there
Rabbitt
i think cleveland or manson could beat west. cleveland is the clear favorite at 130. west and manson would be a good match. as far as soddy beating bradley. it can happen but its not likely. there will have to be a couple upsets along the way. hopefully bradley and soddy will be on opposite sides of the brackets, because they are clearly the best two teams in div. 1.
