got a question. what's the wurd on the stud basketball player that is not on the bball team anymore. this is the same kid that quit football this year in the playoffs. i don't want to use any names here. since he's a junior, is he working to get back on the teams or is he transfering somewhere else to play? i hate to hear of kids missng out on what could be a full college ride. i have been told the kid is extremly talented. maybe even Div 1 prospect in football.

He's academically ineligible for basketball. He's working on getting back in good graces with the football team and has already talked to Coach Clark about playing next year.

glad to hear it. hate to see kids blow a big opportunity that they'll regret their entire lives. hopefully he's getting some guidance and is listening to it

coach88 is correct, the player in question is on indefinite suspension from the basketball Indians. Story goes that he has talked with Coach Clark and will be able to participate in football next year, barring any additional unforeseen circumstances. He IS a division 1 football prospect, with his size, speed, and hands...his work ethic, obviously, is in question...but, the God given talent is real. He has a ton of potential, needs to grow a heart to match. I hope, for his sake, that he does.

There have been quite a few individuals who have stepped up and stepped in to attempt to point this youngster in the right direction, he now has to respond the right way. Stay tuned.
