how do they get the dream team?

i was just wondering about the dream team i dont know much about it .how many diff. teams are there and what does the team do??

The Dream Team is a selection of Middle TN wrestlers voted by the Middle Tn Coaches to be the best in their weight class regardless of school size or division. There are over 60 schools competing in the Middle Tn area. The coaches meeting may include around 20 coaches. There are wrestlers selected whose coaches are not present.

 

The teams don't "do" anything; they are recognized for their accomplishments to date. There have been many previous award recipients who have been outperformed at the State tournament by area wrestlers. The voting is taken very seriously with weight being given to wrestlers who sought the best competition.
