Gomab...will Rockwood ever get any Love, last Poll you dropped them out because you said they lost to Unaka, and they never even played them. This week they still arn't in the poll.

CAK is overlooked. Two of their losses ocurred while football players were still involved in state playoff. They have spanked Rockwood and Cosby. Six different players have been leading scorer at least once.

They didn't spank Rockwood, they beat em by 7. And they split with Cosby. The rematch with Rockwood is next week, win that and you will get more respect for sweeping.

CAK is ranked, so what are you crying about??? And the winner of the rematch will be ranked in the next poll...

Gomab, Joseph Bailey from Pickett County played the whole game against Clay County on Feb. 3rd. Just thought you might like to know. Must not have been too hurt - he scored 11 points. Dusty Adams played awesome defense holding him to ONLY 11 points.

Bailey was hurt that game, and played on a bum ankle... He actually reinjured it during the game, and has not seen action since...

 

Great win nonetheless for Clay Co, who just has a few too many losses to crack the top 20...

Since the poll was done on feb. 7 Karns has beat Campbell Co. and Oak Ridge(again). They have won 14 of their last 15 games and just completed an undefeated home schedule with wins against Oak Ridge, Clinton, Farragut,Powell, and Maryville. They are truly the "cardiac kids". Fun to watch and deserves some recognition in the Knoxville area.

There is no denying Rockwood now. CAK is sitting at home! Rockwood decisively beat CAK and Cosby. Hancock County is next!

Rockwood and CPA are the two teams left in State single A that were ranked coming into the tournament. I believe now that Rockwood is ranked up 8th from 9th and CPA up from 2nd to 1st. Should be a great game.
