Does anyone know why Sunbright Jr. High forfit. Both Girls and Boys!!! I'm sure The girls would have had a great chance to win it all this year.

It is my understanding, after talking with those in the know, the Sunbright principal would not let her team's travel to Springfield---thus the forfeits!! And yes, that is very unfortunate!!

 

As for next season, I hear Sunbright is only going to be allowed to play 12 games!! How sad!! By the time you play all 4 county schools twice and the post season county tournament that means you have 2 games left to either play at the Hollis Eble down at Oakdale or play host the annual North-South tournament!!

Their will be NO North and South Tournament at Sunbright next year. The principal has already said NO according to the boys coach.

Hey TheAnswer9 since you know the people at Sunbright can you find how why the principal did not let the girls and boys play.

Congratulations to the Lake City Lady Lakers. They a defeated Robertson County 35-33 this past Saturday at the TNT.
