I think Soddy Daisy will surprise some folks. They will have one of the best hitting lineups they have had in forever. All they need is for some pitchers to step it up because right now that is the only question mark. I'm sure they'll be fine though, Coach G will have them ready!!

I hear you guys up at SD don't have the numbers out this year like you have had. Will that have any effect on this year? Or are you still solid 1-9?

 

If you guys can hit, I think you'll do fine. Just get some guys in there to throw strikes!

Soddy didnt have the numbers out this year that they've had in the past, but the people there are hungry to play. it's too early to say, but they could surprise some folks this year, and they're only gonna get better next year.

Why are the numbers down in Soddy? Big School, Good Coach, Nice park, Etc....

 

Feeder schools (Loftis and SD Middle) have been down W-L record past couple of years from what I hear.

It's not just at Soddy...I think numbers are down every year. Ooltewah only had a little over 40 kids come out. It was closer to 60 last year.

 

I'll tell you what it is. These kids are getting more and more lazy. They'd rather be sitting at home watching TV, than out there sweating and having fun on the diamond!

I think Soddy's gonna be just fine. They will have some big bats and I think the pitchers will be ready! Their lineup may be one of the biggest ever as far as physically big.

I also feel that Soddy will be fine this year. Their young pitchers will have to come along quickly but as hotsauce said i think that their bats could make up the diffrence. I think that the pitching might catch up with them later in the year but who knows they might have somebody step up. I am sure that they will find an ace somewhere.....soddy always do.

Who are these big sticks? Alex Vaughn I know, he is a very good player. I don't know of another proven hitter on that team.
