Unaka beat HV. Coty Townsend played a great game from what I was told. That's back to back. She gave credit to her teammates yesterday!

 

Unaka must finally have found a "vocal" leader!

Coty is considered, by many (not just my opinion) to be one of the top five talents in the *tri-county* area, in this year's JUNIOR class.

*To include Unicoi, Carter and Johnson counties*

not so sure it was how well Unaka played as to how poorly hv played. take nothing away from Unaka but hv didn't do what they need to do to be successful. Unaka did what they needed to do. coty is a fine talent that plays very hard. wish some of the hv players had her desire.

The players I've gotten the most chatter over are the two from Erwin, Julie and Coty, and of course, Baughman.

 

Osborne and Ensor will be offered as well.

Thank you. I have been coaching middle and high school ball for 11 years, and I always try to scout all the talent on area teams. The area juniors are an exceptionally talented group. As always, Brutus caught my mistake on Whaley, but I'm hoping she will be moving on up to college ball next year.
