Where'd this South Greene team come from!

South Greene girls have been the suprising team to watch this year....they carry a a 25-4 record.....having beaten Heritage, Greeneville, sevier county in the pre-season.......................who knew.....my money is on them in AA

They lost to Livingston Academy though. Gold stays in 7AA.

Didn't know they had a starter out, I listened to the game on the radio and it sounded like Livingston was up big and South Greene made a comeback. Must be solid, but won't they have to go through Seymor and Oliver Springs? Tough road!

I remember South Greene in 2000, we played them in the state championship game, they had a Miss Basketball finalist, but she got hurt in the first half. I hated to win that way, you like to beat teams at full strength. That started the string of 4 in a row!!

South Greene wont make it out of region. If they did luck up though, they shouldnt even show up at the sub-state.

Unicoi, Pigeon Forge and even Elizabethton might have a say in their regional. Then of course there is Oliver Springs or Seymour in the substate barring an upset. Anybody who thinks Regions 1 and 2 are weak are wrong!!

Unicoi can definitely show the South Greene rebels how to play; I wouldnt be so fast to give them a pass to the substate; district games looming; regionals next; could be like last year ya know; upsets galore!

i agree iceman.....it seems like tournament time is definitely the time for upsets and suprises.....i'm sure South Greene can't look past unicoi, but i feel pretty confident in South Greene's ability to be a state competitor.....not taking anything away from unicoi....they do have good talent this year and have already had lots of success this season......may the best man win

last year should have taught the greenies not to overlook their own district; Pigeon Forge is good; Right now winning the district is the prime goal of all teams; to look farther than that is foolish; I guarantee you that 7AA teams arent even thinking about the regionals yet..............

That was ignorant....(bigeaglefan) Look who's in South Greene's region......nobody they can't handle with the jv squad....nobody within 20 points of them.......yeah.....you must know your stuff.....they only have 5 gold balls and 4 silver.......think before speaking...lol...............they're tough....

That just proves you don't know basketball with a qoute like that. If your comments are so accurate, then why did Pigeon Forge take you to 2 overtimes at your place?

The only 2 thing I can say for sure is in Tournament Play its do or die and when you play South Greene the Ref's will stick it to you.
