York vs Dekalb

This was one of the most exciting games i have ever seen. Both teams played extremely hard and both teams deserved to win. Dekalb is fun and exciting to watch and i dont think they are cellar dwellers anymore. York had the ball last and that proved to be the difference. Josh Stephens hit a big shot just like big players should. York battled to the end and give them credit for not giving up. 4th quarter was costly for the Tigers but they will be back next year. Lose some great seniors and just wish them best of luck. Dekalb plays with alot of passion and desire for the game not bad for a team picked 6th in the preseason polls. Should be a great 7-AA tournament with the top 4 teams left. Still anyones tournament to win, just hope everygame is as exciting as this one was. My hats off to Trey Sanders and Smith Co. and Danny McCoin and Livingston for thier big wins. York good luck against Upperman. Cant wait to watch the rest of the tournament just wish Dekalb could have been there. Anybody have any comments about the game please reply. Good luck to all the teams.

Dekalb County has a great young coach in Lynus Martin. He is a class guy and gets the most out of his players. Good Luck Coach Martin.

DeKalb Co played an outstanding game aginst York.

They played good team ball, seemed to be very well coached.

They beat York all night long and really deserved to win.

If York would play as a team they would be more sucessful.

They have some real talent in Stephens, Ledbetter and others.

They need to play unselfish. Their coach must stress this if they are to win.

Good luck York in your game with Upperman.

What seems to be all the problems with York that are appearing on alot of other posts. I see a very talented team that has a couple of go to guys with alot of role players. Is there more than what we see. Just wondering becasue i see a good basketball team with a good tournament tested coach. They beat a good DeKalb Co. team and will give Upperman a great game. Is a big intense rivalry. will be a very physical game. It seems from reading other posts that this team does not get along or their is alot of jealousy on the team. From an observer everything looks good. York will do well in the tournament and in regionals. See ya tomorrow at the games starting with york vs Upperman then livingston vs smith . Should be two great games really hard to predict. So good luck to all.
