RBWRESTLER
Awesome job this weekend, you by far were one of the best wrestlers this weekend. good luck next year.
stovepipe
Biggest surprise of the tourney???? What do you think.. Great job.
CoachDelgado
He was definately off the radar going in to the tournament. With Coleman vs Tinsley a foregone conclusion that only Ortiz could mess up, Bundy comes in and picks off all three of them in a row. Great job this weekend. Greenvillefan
Congratulations Nic. Those of us who have seen you wrestle for several years where not all that surprised. It had to be surprising. Bundy did not even place last year. Bundy had a bad draw because in the quarterfinals, he had to beat Ortiz who had already beaten him by decision and got 2nd in state last year at 112. In the semifinals, he had to beat Tinsley who got 2nd in the state at 103 last year. In the finals, he had to beat Coleman who got 1st at 103 last year. Bundy decisioned Ortiz, pinned Tinsley, and decisioned Coleman. How could that not be surprising? Bundy surprised everyone. He wrestled a great tournament, and he deserved to win. Good job and good luck next year, Bundy.
best_of_the_west
He's right. The kid's a good wrestler, but you are crazy if you expect us to believe that you though he would win state in as convincing a manner as he did. Wrestling4Life
I knew he was going to win state all along BOTW!
bopper1
Bundy was definitely not supposed to win state. But he did well all the same. Coming out of no where to win is a great accomplishment.
chswrestler01
Congratulations Mr. Bundy on an outstanding weekend. I would just like to know how much weight you had been cutting to get there? You were one big 112 pounder. I had heard through the "rumor mill" that you had to step on three different scales before you made the weight. Anyways congratulations on your state title this past weekend... ArtusCimber
I think Bundy's showing was probably the most impressive of the tournament. Brings to mind, but actually is a little more inspiring, than one Mr. Josh Bosken. Any kid who is aspiring to greatness should look at this performance. It's what wrestling is all about.
