The only teams that in my mind don't stand a real chance of getting to the finals are MBA and Briarcrest. Having seen every team play at least twice, the most explosive offensive team was BA, but after losing Slay and Bone, my pick would be Catholic. Defensively, BGA may be the best, or Byrne. Best player is, of course, Wright from BA, and if he carries the guys on his back, you could see BA defend their title. Honestly, this should be a great state tournament in D2.

Hopefully FrankL. I would love to see a Baylor-Catholic final. I've witnessed all three games this season and they both are very entertaining teams on offense, but the finals could very well be two completely different teams. It is pretty wide open this year.

Boy, I have to agree it's a very wide open tournament this year. The only two teams that would absolutely shock me in winning it all are MBA and KCHS. Byrne, BA, BGA are probably the favorites going in, but Baylor scares me athletically. Should they get by BA in the opening round, they could...go...all...the...way!

BA won, 54-45. Basically wore them down in the second half, as BA played 10 guys, and Baylor only 6. Brandon Wright had 24, I believe.

BA looked like a great team today. The subs really held their own and provided rest for the starters. Baylor had an athletic team, and Adams is awsome. I still think Wright is Mr. Basketball though. BA has a great shot to defend their title.
