JanaLee
Just for information. The Heritage loss was at Heritage and Seymour couldn't throw it in the ocean from the beach in the first half. Not to mention Heritage used 4 post players to literally beat on Brooke. When Seymour started coming back in the 3rd quarter (Brooke had 11 in that quarter) and cut the lead to 9, Brooke got 3 questionable fouls called on her and she fouled out in the 3rd. If that tells you anything. Seymour couldn't make up for her loss. I don't usually say much about the refs on here but it was one of the worst called games I have ever seen and all of her fouls were called by the same ref and when she got her 5th, he turned to the score table and told them it was 5. That is the first time in 12 years of seeing her play ball that I ever saw her get very mad at a ref. That is all water under the bridge though. JanaLee
You are right on that one. Even Brooke said after the game she should have gotten some fouls trying to get some of the passes made to her. It amazes me the inconsistency of the referees. I feel for the players, they never know what to expect, some you can touch foul and they call it and then they let you kill each other in the post. I don't agree with either but if some should be let go, it is the touch fouls 30 feet away from the basket.
scbballfreak
No contest. Have you seen the region brackets? Seymour has a CAKewalk all the way to the boro. Not taking anything away from them, but there is no competition for them here and there wont be in the boro either with a player like brooke johnson on there side. OS91
Scball, I'm thinking we can buy buy you a clue sometime for making one of the most ridiculous comments on coacht.com history and I will leave it at that. It just so happens, the only player that will play Div 1 basketball out of the region plays for Oliver Springs.
