If Giles County wins the region they will face a very good Jackson Southside or Bolivar team in the substate. If the game is tied with a minute to go who do you want on the floor? I want Smith, Morris, Coffey, Shannon, and Givens. That is the best possible line up Giles County can put out!

You guys better watch it, remember what happened the last time we said Coffey should be starting over Holt...family members got involved. Holt was impressive yesterday, his shot was on and he was burying the deep ball. However, I believe that if GC makes it out of the Region, you can not take a chance on a streaky shooter being hot or not. Put your most talented 5 players on the floor to start the game and let them get the job done. I think Coffey had like 3 or 4 steals in the Harpeth game yesterday. Coach Holt, lets see what the kid can do when his name is called during the starting lineup.

All I have to say is that we are vey fortunate to have as many good players on the bench as we do on the floor. Not many teams have that advantage like we do. Personally, I would not want to have to choose who the starters are, it would be a tough decision. All you Bobcats are great and I love watching you. Most of you I have been following since Bridgeforth. FYI Just wait until next year when the sophmores start playing on the team!!!! GO CATS ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I seen today in the Tennessean where Coffey is averaging 10.8 points per game. Thats pretty impressive considering all those games in the beginning of the season that counted as games being played when he didn't get much playing time. I think he is also averaging like five or six rebounds a game also despite lack of minutes in the beginning of the season. In reality he probably would average around 14 points and seven boards a game if he started. But he comes off the bench and that is sick! Oh by the way Shay Shannon is averaging 11.4 points per game. One could make an argument that Coffey is the second best leading scorer and rebounder on the team. He is too much of a plus not to have on the floor.
