Playday at Camp Jordan

Anyone know anything about a playday at Camp Jordan this weekend in Chattanooga?

I know Farragut's schedule:

 

11:00am - Ooltewah

12:00pm - Soddy Daisy

2:00pm - Boyd Buchanan

3:00pm - East Ridge

 

I think we may find out how good (or bad) we are this weekend. Hard to tell with a 55 min time limit, but should be able to get an idea.

Is this Saturday? Are there games on Friday?

 

Boyd, East Ridge and Soddy-Daisy are three of the top programs in Chattanooga. I think you are right about being tested. It is good to be tested early. Good luck.

I know Cumberland Co. will be there as well, but it looks like it will be rained out.

 

In the past, the coach used the Camp Jordan play day to indoctrinate new players to new positions and to finally see some live pitching. The Hendersonville Tourney is where I have seen the cream rise to the top.

 

Sounds like some good teams will be there. Gonna miss it though.

Teams that are in the playday are: Baylor, BBS, Central, Cumberland County, East Ridge, Farragut, Hixson, Notre Dame, Ooltewah, Powell, Red Bank, Sequatchie County, Soddy Daisy, and Tyner.

 

BBS plays Red Bank @9, Ooltewah@10, Soddy@1, and Farragut@2. The schedule has been out since last Friday at least.

Just a guess that the schedule would be pretty much the same if it's played next Saturday, though some will have to be adjusted. Sequatchie is hosting its own playday and can't be back next week. Again, too bad, getting to play games against tough opponents and see several of this year's opponents would have been a plus, also just getting to watch good teams and scrimmages would have been fun.
