I saw the Maryville Jeff Co game.

When Maryville started pressing the

came back from being down 18

to beat Jefferson on their home court.

 

The press of the Lady Trojans hurt Jefferson

and Powell is more athletic than Mo West.

 

Regional semi's Tennessee High closed

the 1/2 with a 9-0 run with a full court press.

Wanted to let everyone know that the Powell vs Jefferson County game will be played at Central High School........

I was at the Jefferson Co. vs. Morristown West game and I saw no indication that their press slowed down the Lady Pats.

It's hard to tell how this one will play out. I know Powell will be fired up b/c they have mucho momentum. But will the Jeff. Co. girls come out flat b/c of their loss or come out ready for a W and a state tourney bid? We'll see.

it will be a tough game.. i haven't seen Jeff Co. play any this year, but im sure theyve worked hard to get to where they are... but don't forget about Powell, theyre a team to be reckoned with, they did knock out Sevier Co. girls in the second round of the regions to end their season, and the Lady Panthers are still goin strong.. theyve got amazing talent on their team and great height, i dont know who will take it, best of luck to both the teams.. im excited to see the outcome,... does anyone know what radio station it will be playing on?!

I think Powell has figured out that it is when they play defense with intensity, they are truely at a different level. If the Lady Panthers come out intent on putting the clamps on Jeff co., it will be something the Lady Patriots have not seen the likes of before. I'm not just talking about a press, I'm talking about the half court, physical, gambling, in your face stuff, for 32 minutes that has them where they are now. If this happens, and I think it will, I'm guessing Powell by 16.
