  1. We used to get box scores from most the IMAC games pretty soon after. Come on help the folks who can't make it to many games out! Please /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  2. Tennessee Select also qualified and are going.
  3. The Tennessee Select 16-under team, is looking for another post play and another point guard. If interested please contact us via e-mail tennesseeselect@yahoo.com or check out www.leaguelineup.com/tennesseeselect
  4. Congratulations Lady Devils.... Way to step your game up Nicole. Bring it home.
  5. Kendal Baxter from Sevier County. Her range is almost insane.
  6. Give the kid a break already. Lewis is a multiple sport athlete for her school(Volleyball and Basketball). She injured her leg playing in the AAU National tournament. (unsure but believe she had a pulled hamstring and a muscle contusion). Doctor's orders were to rest it as much as possible. She went to the mandatory Volleyball/Basketball workouts, and was following instuctions to get herself healthy and ready for her volleyball and basketball seasons. But i'm sure everyone knew that..... Because everyone on here knows all the information when they start running their mouths.
  7. i agree with u about all of it pts... but depew alone should have the ball pounded into her more than 5 times a game. It wasn't like central was trying to deny her the ball. just one on one coverage.
  8. Cocke County 47 Knox Central 41 Unsure about the total stats but Cocke probably scored 25 points on freethrows, as Central only attempted around 15. It was a long game drug out by ticky tack fouls. 3 Players left the game with injuries. (Suggs from Cocke and 2 Central Kids) I've seen Cocke Co play about 2 or 3 times this year, and IMO the players are not being used correctly. Again i've only seen them play a few times but it looks like the coach just shows up. 3 girls around 6 foot in the starting lineup and the tallest opposing defender is barely 5'8.... could count on 1 hand how many times they went inside (and central was playing man2man!) Nothing negative meant just an opinion...
  9. I was in attendance at the Knox Central v. Campbell Co game tonight; and I my hat is off to the new coaching staff at Knox Central. They are taking mediocre talent and turning them into competitors. Central is a more structured/fundamentally sound team than in the past. You can tell they are well coached and there is a system in place. Kudos to the coaches willing to take on this lack luster program. I look forward to the rematch at Campbell Co in a few weeks. Any thoughts on this program and its future?
  10. Congrats to Kendal Baxter from Sevier County High on breaking the Greene County Ladies Classic record for most three-pointers in a game. She was 8 of 12 from behind the arc in Sevierville's loss to Lexington Catholic. Previous Record was 7 held by Brittany Jackson who played for the the Tennessee Lady Vols (played HS ball at Bradley Central)
  11. Are you referring to the Acuff girl? If so.. i've seen her play.. solid player... but unless she's grown since july she isn't 6'2... in fact 6'0 would be a stretch.
  12. Jeff County pounded Cocke County tonight..... unsure of the final score. Was very disappointed to see the lack of structure and discipline on the Cocke Co side. They have too many quality players to be allowed to run so wild.
  13. What exactly are the 3 players being picked up for? Did the 13-under Raiders qualify for Nationals?
  14. Inconsistent? The loses should help the lady Patriots in the long run, but what is going on? Wasn't at the game but heard the fab 5 got benched for almost all of the 3rd. Someone fill me in!
  15. Game stats of the Sevier Jefferson game?
  16. DZbettin....Greeneville beat Heritage in substate last year...
  17. The Green County Ladies Classic is no joke. Jefferson better bring they're A game or they'll fall into the losers bracket quick.
  18. Final... Greeneville-50 Jefferson-46 The Lady Devils came away with the win, but i'm not convinced that they are a better team than the Lady Patriots. Too many turnovers and too much subbing cost Jefferson this one. Granted that players need a break now and then, but there comes a time when you just gotta tough it out and play through the fatigue. Jefferson had many chances in the final 2 quarters to make runs but they just weren't clicking. Don't get me wrong, they played extrememly hard in trying to come back, but it was just too late. Hats off to Coach Burkey in an "interesting" defensive strategy that proved to be effective (the post playing oppostie of Huff for Jefferson wasn't even being guarded after she got 5 or 6 feet away from the goal, allowing Greeneville to double Huff and crowd the lane) Good luck to both teams for the rest of the season. Can't wait until January 21st!
  19. Both Teams have great players...... However, the slight advantage goes to Greeneville's coach, Lynn Burkey. Huff and Kyle played on his Nike team this summer and Lyke played under him when she was younger so he knows their capabilities and weaknesses. Fatigue also could be a factor for the Lady Patriots. After their "fab 5" they have no proven subs. Should be a tight one..... Raider...both teams offense are capable of putting up 65+, but if either one of these clubs reach that, i'll be surprised....Both sides defense is too good.
  20. Congrats to the Lady Patriots on winning the Chop House Tournament. Also Congratulations to Ashley Huff, Ashley Kyle, Lindsay Lyke, Katie Rickard, & Sarah Sinard on being named to the all tourney team. Play Hard and Play together!
  21. Against Pigeon Forge...Lindsay Lyke (starter) was out that game due to a prior school related committment. Also, I heard that Potts used it as more of a practice, to experiment with new defenses and lineups. Nothing against the Lady Tigers, they are a good AA team, but they should not even be close to Jefferson in a real game.
