Nobody's worried. I know GC isn't unbeatable and I never said they were. I think it will bw a great game. There are only a few GC fans that have ran there mouths about the team. I for one just let things play out on the floor and express my opinons. I haven't see "Pioneer Pete" on here this week. Wonder Why??? I knew he wasn't from GC by the way he was talking, nobody talks THAT much stuff.

Yeah, Peabody did win by 25, which means nothing tho, because GC beat them 6 times in 2 years, 6-0 against them.

 

Oh, I forgot, GC plays a weak schedule.

I know this is about Girls basketball, but any GC fans that has any connection with Jon-Jon Roberts, go to the boys basketball board and look under the sticky thread about the GOMAB Recruiting Showcase in Lexington, TN on Sat. He needs to be there. Please pass the word to him or Coach Harshaw. The kid has a chance to be very good. College scouts will be there and of course GOMAB, who ranks high school basketball players in TN.

That itself show you Gibson Co. strength of schedule...a SingleA team going 6-1 against doubleA teams shows you there isn't many tough teams from over in your neck of the woods....

Obion Co.- Beat OS and played within 15 points of LA

Martin Westview- State Runner up last year and got beat this year on a fluke

Trenton Peabody-Single A state tournament champs, has not been beat by a single A school in 2.5 years

 

Chester County- State tournament last year, got defeated in substate this year

 

Thats 13 of the 37 games right there.

Ive said it before and ill say it again......GC has had a pretty easy schedule this year and i think that is part of the reason they are undefeated and i dont really care what anybody tells me because im still gonna think the same thing.The real challenge is gonna be LA and if they beat them then i will believe that they are "THAT" good.Definenately going to be a good game.

Ask Loretto how tough Chester Co. was, they only won by a few points in the substate game.

 

GC beat Chester Twice this year.

 

Yeah, And I agree LA is good, they wouldnt be here otherwise.

 

And yes, Jackson Co., if in 13AA, would have probably beaten all of those other teams in 13AA, only having problems with Martin Westview and GC.

 

Regardless, schedule means nothing at this point.

 

The game will come down to who executes and who hits free throws, its that simple, state championships are decided on free throw shooting.
