true atuck... but my point was that swimming, wrestling, cross country, and other non-high school sports are on the same level with track and field as far as straight-up head-to-head athletic competition -- no bats and balls, just you and the opponent.

probably?? Soccer has not competititon when it comes to sports' popularity around the world.... no other sport even comes close... which is why it boggles the mind that america doesnt seem to get it

First off, last time I checked the United States of America was part of the world. And secondly, track's popularity was never part of the issue that was being discussed (the caliber of FRA's athletic program) until you came in and decided that no one caring about track was relevant to the topic, which it is not.

 

All that needs to be said is that the original claim that FRA's athletic program is not very strong is false. FRA has probably the strongest and most dominant overall athletic department in all of 1A. This statement has backed up and proven by the figures given by RWest316...end of story.

first off, there is a section for posts on both track and soccer. this one is for basketball, a sport that matters.

 

second, i hope that FRA goes into todays game thinking about playing CPA. Unaka will kill them if they go in there and under-estimate them.

I hope FRA does win, just so we CPA students can enjoy getting to watch Nashville schools be represented in the state championship game, but all that aside I still want us to beat you guys.
