Wayne County at CPA

Congratulations CPA! and GREAT SEASON WC!!! You guys played your hearts out, and it came down to the clock. With a few more minutes, I honestly think you guys could've pulled it out. You guys were/are absolutely amazing! I wish the best of luck to CPA in the state tournaments! You guys both played some serious ball! Congratulations guys!

What a fun atmosphere tonight! CPA's gym was the ideal venue and captured the intensity very well. I really enjoyed watching Travis Sikes and Andrew House working their magic tonight...CPA has really improved from a couple years ago when I last saw them. They certainly have a great chance at the 1A title. Hats off to Wayne County, who played their hearts out until the buzzer. They were classy, scrappy, and pretty darn good. Great game.

I really wanted to make it out to this game tonight but like Big48 said Jamont Gordon was also playing in his own sub-state game over in South Nashville. I'm glad to hear CPA won and good luck to Sikes and the boys in state. Oh yeah, we should all be glad there isint anyone like Jamont Gordon in 1A.

I was listening to the game on the radio and the only thing a few more minutes would have been good for was 100 points for CPA.

Wayne County had an absolutely amazing Boy's basketball team. To go to CPA( a private school that has the ability to recruit) with average guys from a public school and keep the game that close, shows true athleticism. I am very proud of our guys! I think they did a remarkable job this season, and during the game at CPA. They have nothing to be ashamed of, they played a very good game! CPA just came out with a higher score. Congratulations CPA!

I don't know if you knew this, but they don't exactly feed the players super-food or give them special shots to make them great at gametime or anything. They're basketball players just like the guys at Wayne Co., they just happen to be better. CPA has everything it takes to win it all. They just have to stay consistent. Wayne Co. would've been lucky to make it out of the District 9A tourney.
