troopersocko, let me start by saying that you should not try to pretend like you know something about brentwood academy. i don't know anything about your dear greenfield, and therefore i will not attempt to argue about its administration.

 

1) ba is based on the idea of christian education.

2) evolution and creation are not necessarily in direct (or indirect) conflict as some posters seem to believe... i think anybody would admit that evolution occurs -- the origin of this evolutionary trend and the grand scale on which it may or may not occur are the points of disagreement.

3) what is a true 100 % christian based school, trooper?

I am going to agree with abraham lincoln in saying that evolution can be taught in ways other than "The Big Bang" vs. what I believe, that is creation, also I go to a Church of Christ affiliated school which is a denomination that uses the King James version of the Bible. I am not Church of Christ but all of the teachers are. In our biology classes we study and are taught a form of evolution that is the adaptation of species, which was a theory of Charles Darwin, only the strong survive. Evolution simply means a progressive change which would mean it could be taught in ways other than life coming out of nothing against the Christian belief of ceation. So unless you go to Brentwood Acadamey or know someone who goes you really have no idea what goes on there or what their beliefs are.
