While the Alcoa team and some youthful fans seem to be an easy target, remember that Alcoa is playing up 1 classification above their student enrollment. The Alcoa kids had a great year. I disagree with the thought that the district they play in is weak. AustinEast has for years been a basketball power. Fulton has always (since Jody Wright at least) been well coached and competitive with great athletes ie recent football success.

If we were in Memphis we would be playing those teams but since we're not we dont have to worry about them until we make it to state. You all do know we play in 2A instead of 1A because we want to play better competition.
