Better yet, have your player pick up the phone, call the college coach at schools they are interested in, and save some money. If they aren't being recruited they may want to focus on NCAA Div 2 or NAIA schools that offer scholarships

I agree. College coaches DO NOT pay attention to information from recruiting services. Do the work yourself. It'll impress the coaches, and you'll save a few hundred dollars.

Never use a recruiting service. They are a waste of money.

NEver use a recruiting service, I agree with doing it your self. I play college football as a place kicker....I sent out a lot of tapes, and emailed coaches......if you are not recruited by a big school....there is always the NAIA route or the D-III, DII.....I would recommend going to NCAA route personally. If you dedide to transfer to an NCAA school after a year or whatever, yuo have to sit out. I'm transfering from NAIA to D-IAA and I have to sit out a year.......so if you are wanting to play small school, I would recommend D-II or D-III
