Hillwood Track

I was just wanting to know what people thought about Hillwood's (Boys) new track coach. Chuck Lewis (previously @ Hunters Lane) is this man a great coach? I think he is and I don't even compete in track for the toppers. I have the privalige to be in one of his classes and he is an incredible person. Good luck Coach and go toppers!!!!!

He must be a great coach. Seems he's taken Hillwood from nothing to now one of the better teams in Nashville.

What are the times for the boys and girls 4x400 and open 400m?

I have only known Coach Lewis for a short period of time, but I think he is a pretty good coach and as it seems he has ressurrected Hillwood's boys teams.

There are some other good boys teams in Metro as well like HL, MHS, WCHS, McGHS, and a couple of others. Question, What teams from Metro are going to the Kenwood Classic?

so far only antioch, hunters lane, and mcgavock! i guess the metro teams are boycotting the kenwood classic this year! even if i say so myself( cause i coach there), this is one of the best meets and most efficiently run meets in the state! and one more thing...does antioch girls have 4 girls under 60 in the 400?

I heard that Hillwood has run the fastest time in the 4x400 this year, 3:24 at Doug Halls. Does anyone know any other boy's times this year.

No, Cordova went 3:22 this year.

at the beg. of the season they had a kid run a 49.9 in the open 400 and they have a couple others that run 50-51. i dont know the time but their 4X2 is also very good, they won and almost broke the record at the doug halls.

Cordova is pretty strong, but they ran a mediocre 4x400 at the Germantown Classic; 3:32 FAT, but never count them out because that 3:16.16 that is in the State record books belongs to Cordova.

I also heard that Hillwood's 4x200 ran a 1:25, which sounds a little far fetched, but I was given second-hand information.
