Add 3 more homeruns this week for Sarah Vaughn of Lenoir City. She probably would have a bunch more, but she is getting the "Barry Bonds" treatment for the last month. She has drawn about a dozen intentional walks, and almost every pitcher has been pitching around her.

Don't you just hate that for the girls when they don't get pitched to! It's a compliment your first time you get intentionally walked and frustrating there after.

Savannah Roberts from Hunters Lane hit 2 yesterday against Maplewood from what I was told, so that puts her around 7 or 8 this year.

Shelby Burchell is an 8th grader from columbia academy playing varisty starting catcher with hitting 5 homeruns in regular season other girls with homeruns are Lacey Ring senior with 2 Courtney Pope sophomore with 2 Hannah Westmoreland and Amanda Rector (sophomores) with one a piece

correction on that ranger she has 18 the paper for some reason hasn't counted the 6 she hit over in the beech tournement this year. but anyways i have never saw a girl hit a softball that far. she doesn't even look like a softball player and she bats like a basball player. she hit one out against bradleycentral that would have easily gone about 280 but we will never know b/c it never came out of the tree. it was still rising as it left the park. it was a pill
