Beech or Wilson Central have to be the favorites, but anyone can win in this league on any given day except Smyrna. Hendersonville, White House, and LaVergne could upset somebody. Mt. Juliet and Gallatin are the outsiders here. After losing to Hendersonville early last week, Beech had good wins over Gallatin, Father Ryan, and did not give up a run on Saturday winning the Lexington Catholic Tournament in Kentucky. Wilson Central has been solid all year as well so it is going to be a good tourney. Just about every team still has at least 2-3 district games to play this week so the seeding will not really be known until Thursday night.

Redbaron, I don't believe Wilson Central will be upset. They are playing good ball right now. IF any team can do it, I believe Hendersonville can. Hendersonville is the most fickle team I have seen this year. I watched them play great teams and win, yet lose to weaker teams. Andy has to be pulling his hair out on this. As to unioncounty comments, Beech did step it up a notch. The Hendersonville lost may have put a fire under them. They took care of business at Lexington tourn.

Thats been the story of Hendersonvilles season all year. Playing great ball against top notch teams, but barely squeeking by the not so dominant. I hope they can get focused and play the way they know how. They play Lavergne today and Wilson Central tomorrow. Back-to-back district wins would give them a huge push for the tourny.

Guys, this is just the way it is when different lineups are used against different

teams and also, it's not just a matter of "focus" and "fickleness", but the girls are

going thru a lot this year and have done pretty good in the face of injuries,

position changes, lineup changes, etc., etc., and a lot more things that won't

be mentioned, so in the light of all that, this year has not been much different

from any other year at HHS, they can play with the best and the worst! (lol)

FPFanatic, I do not see the player rotations, injuries, etc. that you mentioned. I just watch the game as a spectator and can't understand the ups and downs they have been going thru. Your correct that this makes a big difference, but why do they play so well against the good teams, yet lose to weaker teams. The games they won; they did not beat themselves. The games I've seen where they lost, they made simple errors and just didn't play smart. I think this is lack of mental focus.

watching as a spectator, that is what you would see and think, from that viewpoint's

perspective; but your misperceived lack of focus reason comes from what I said.

that is what causes this lack of focus; but you can't see that from your spectators

point of view, that is a very narrow perspective, you might need to stick to just

analyzing your own team instead (lol).

:D

FPFanatic, Don't be SO hard on me. I do agree with part of your statement, but some of the reasons you mentioned does not explain errors where the ball is hit straight to you, or overthrows, poor batting against weaker pitching, etc. Rotations, line up changes, injuries, etc. doesn't cause this. MOST of the time this is caused by lack of player focus. You are correct that I don't know all the facts, and any internal issues. By the way, I would almost bet that I have watched Hendersonville a lot longer than you have. I had many Hendersonville players play for me over the years, so the comment to analize my own team does not apply. I look at them all; and just try to give a non bias opinion because I have no emotional attachment to any of them. lol.

Hendersonville played very well against Wilson Central this afternoon, winning 1-0. Casey Teal pitched a great game. This assures Hendersonville atleast 3rd in the district. Jessie Bain scored the only run of the game on a hit by Dawn Hellaweg, which was over-run by the centerfielder, allowing Bain to score. Great game played by both teams.

Redbarron, Thanks for the update. Do you have any other scores?? Congrad to Hendersonville on a fine win. I told you Hendersonville could beat WC. What did you think of the verval exchange between FpFanatic and myself?? I'm I off base on this one. I would appreciate your comments on this, since you really follow Hendersonville more.

    • I really don’t get your point. Yes, Bearden lost two superstars, that can’t be glanced over, but if you still look at their roster, they have star talent almost everywhere. I’m sure Jones was expecting to lose players. I mean, it’s been rumored since the days they both stepped into Bearden, but I mean, they still have star talent everywhere, receiver, linebacker, safety, defensive back, running back, not to mention they have two probably top 20 quarterbacks in 6A battling it out every day for the starting position. And knowing Jones, I’m sure there will be another star talent that lands in Bearden this off-season, which, based on hearing rumors, may already be there. I’m not too sure. But Chaz and Brody will definitely hurt, but I really doubt it will affect Bearden as much as you think. Maybe during the postseason going up against teams like Oakland, but I doubt during the regular season.
    • The ironic thing is that in 13 or 14 they did the same thing to the baseball team and hired a moron to coach them and the kids refuse to play. nobody came out they changed the coach to a competent baseball coach and within 3 years went to win a  state championship.so things do hold water when it comes to these things.
    • Dingleberry needs to educate herself on Clemer’s “resume” and why he has been dismissed at a few previous positions along with his love of milf and cookies before making her final decision on the matter I do believe. He would not coach my son just from the stuff outside of the X’s and O’s. Throw the football inadequacies in the mix and it just adds to the list of reasons also. Just a really bad deal given the list of coaches that applied from across the state and beyond there is no explanation whatsoever other than agendas why he was hired.
    • Not looking good Captain, not looking good.We had 0 Srs before all this and had a decent amount of Sophmores and 4 or 5 Jrs.Now I heard we have about 14 kids I have not confirmed that and honestly I don't think I will go any further with it.What the community wants and what the faithful supporters along with players and parents it doesn't matter. The Loudon School board made the decision for us and it has killed our program.Folks can say butt hurt whiners whatever they want to but we are a very proud Community and expect the BEST choices to be made from our Administration and that's just not the case.I was at a Basketball game this winter for my grandkids and ran into a former teammate of mine that I actually coached youth league with for a number of years and he told me they were over 100 applications turned in and they hired the best friend of the School board Member who suggested him.He has even reached out to try to help the guy and he refused so here we are going into the fourth season of bad football.GB since 1985 has not had 3 consecutive bad seasons, now we are facing 4 with no help in sight. How are we supposed to get behind such incompetence?Dingle berry says we sound like Democrats lol.Democrats accept all the crazy and weirdness in this world and just roll with it.Im no Democrat.I'm also tired of fighting for something that our say so holds to water.
