Beech vs. Wilson Central 9AAA Championship

If the weather will cooperate, Wilson Central will play Beech at Drakes Creek Park in Hendersonville @ 2:00 on Friday May 14th with a 4:00 game to follow if Beech defeats Wilson Central in the 1st matchup. Two really good teams - Should be fun. Good Luck to both schools in the region next week.

Would like to see Wilson Central pull it out. For a school who hasnt been around for very long, it would be a big accomplishment. Remember, Beech has to beat Wilson Central not once, but twice to become district champs. Tough mountain to climb.

STD, I'm in Florida, and need to know the scores of Beech & WC if you have them. Did you guys win the district and against whom???

2-0 first game, I think 4-0 second game when the rain game and the game was not to be continued tomorrow by a decision of the coaches I think I do not have the exact info. I kind of thought Beech would bear down and take both games. Back a wildcat into a corner and they come out fighting. Beech has too much pitching and defense and that just came out on top. Two victories for Stanfill yesterday and I think Claunch went the distance today.
