Who is the favorite to win it All?

I will be real surprised if Central can beat Soddy. DII- keep and eye on St. Benedict, can't tell if they are that good or the west in not that strong.

A--Goodpasture--Great pitching and defense. Peroni is tough to catch up with. Well-coached. Everyone can move runners and they hit to the opposite field as well as anyone I've seen.

 

AA--Tough call--I like Lipscomb but they have trouble scoring runs. On the other hand they win a lot of close games so they are cetainly seasoned for the state. Unicoi Co.?!? Walker Valley scores a lot of runs.

 

AAA--I see three teams above the rest. Soddy would have to be the favorite, they've beaten everybody. It's a long drive to Mississippi though. Beech is tough with their lead-off hitter back. Early tournament wins against Beech came without Amy C. Since Dickson Co. no-hit Beech in the region they can't be left out.

 

DII--I know nothing about. I've seen Brentwood Academy a couple of times but I hear Baylor is the class of the DIIs.

Yes, the last time that Farragut went to the state tournament was in 1999, when they got 4th, and the year before that they got 5th. But we are a whole new team this year. I think we have the talent to contend with some really good teams.

People don't need to rule out us kids from Farragut just yet, we still have some fight left in us. We are all dressed up and ready for the ball. The shoe just might fit for us this year. The clock hasn't struck Midnight yet so don't stomp on Cinderalla's gown this early. See yall in Memphis! Go FHS!

If I read it right Dickson Co. has given up something like 23 runs in 45 games. WOW.

My thoughts also. Will they be Tennessee state champs or Mississippi champs.

It is a shame with all the great facilities in Middle and East Tennessee the young ladies has to play a state tournament in Mississippi. I know it borders Memphis but it still isn't Tennessee.Guess that just goes to show that Memphis and the TSSAA doesn't care enough about the ladies. Made all the money off them they can then cast them off to the side.Motel rooms, taxes, parking and all to another state.

If Memphis can't support the Ladies move them to where they will be appreciated. Cities lined up that would love to host softball.
