Rouse to TN Wesleyan

Maryville's Alex has Rouse Has signed with TN Wesleyan. And the sheep only thought he could play Football!!!!!

Congratulations to Alex. He'll be joining several other KIL players in the Appalachian Athletic Conference. Hiles and Ownby at Wesleyan. Ross, Snyder, and Tucker at Milligan.

 

Any particular reason why he decided to forego football at UT and play baseball instead?

I belive it was a money issue. He had nothing guarenteed at UT. Should be a good move for him. I've always felt he had more tallent for baseball.

Good luck to Alex, I think it was a good fit for him. Truely, I had thought he never had much of a chance of playing baseball or football at UT. He was agood HS Basebvall player, but not a D1 guy. Maryville seldom produces a D1 Baseball player these days. Good luck to Alex. Who's the kid who went to Linconn from MHS?
