breaking the huddle

I was informed by a referee at a Jamboree that teams can not say kill when they break the defensive huddle anymore. Is this a TSSAA rule or just the view of certain referees? Does anyone out there have the answer? The kids are not actually wanting to end someone's life they are just trying to show that they are ready for the other team.

As a referee, you can say anything you want to within reason.  No racial slurs, cussing, derogatory comments.  In a big rivalry game, a referee can stop certain thing that he deems “Trash Talk”.

We break the huddle and say Go cats kill! Is that inappropriate? ;)
