What do you think? I have to go with Jackie. After a disappointing finish at state last year because of mono, she has been on fire since. Her practices have been very impressive and she has high expectations of herself as well.

Don't count Palmer out of the race. I heard yesterday that she beat Pickel a few times last season. She is a hard worker so I see her giving Jackie a run for her money.

It all comes down to Mental Toughness- Palmer can do it, if she believes she can, and is willing to put the mileage in. Pickel is a natural, she doesn't have to work as hard as others do, and will still get results.

Why? Why don't you support somebody from your own school? You must have something against Jackie or you're just jealous. She's a great person and I hope she dominates the whole state this year.

Jackie seems to be in a little slump, but it has happened before and she's pulled out of it. Give some credit to Tiffany Palmer and Amber Kienlen. Both are working very hard this year. Right now Tiffany looks like she is the one to beat. She ran really well at Tuesday's meet. I think Tiffany, Amber, and Jackie will be the top three in the region. They are all great runners and very nice young ladies. Best of luck to all of them.

Jackie reminded Tiffany and Amber that she can still run at Jesse Owens. I still think those three will be the top three but I have no idea what order they will finish. Region Champ--take your pick.

Um i think Ginne Herron tore her ACL this year so she wont be running.

She plays basketball all the time also! If she takes a little time off for it, this region better watch out! Holla!
