i watched McMinn play Cumberland and Ooltewah play East Ridge and i think that Caldwell is the better of the backs yall have mentioned.

They didn't look very clean running it... I've also saw that big M in the middle of MacMinn's field. They didn't have enough paint to paint the lines... THey put it all in the middle of the field...

You dont know if McMinn can pass or not. I mean it wasnt good agains Cumberland but still, it was wet and it was the Qb's first start

Owls are still young. But secondary looks OK. The LBs are so over aggressive trying to make tackles in the backfield they have problems getting back in the curl zones. This throws all the pressure on the secondary. Ooltewah has had good run LBs for the past few years. But none who cover pass well. But best Owls D in the Gatewood years.

Hahaha, nice ImaOwl. And whoever said that McMinns passing wasnt that good last year isnt totally right, i mean, the QB couldnt throw great, but he did get the Region Quarterback of the Year didnt he?

That may be the case, but that doesn't mean McMinn is bad. I posted their running backs stats from last week. Trey Locke- 10 carries for 95 yards, Steven McBride-7 carries for 51 yards, and Trace McDermott- 3 carries for 73 yards. So, your telling me we are overhyping them? Most teams would kill to have 3 backs that can do what they can. I don't even think that the Cumberland game was their best effort.

The only offense east ridge had was on 2 plays. That was their offense. If i remember correctly Ooltewah had two interception, one by a linebacker and one by a db. Great linebacker core at Ooltewah this year. 2 juniors and 1 senior. Great speed sideline to sideline. THey also do a great job getting to the QB on blitzes.
