Okay, first of all, let me say that ANY of the Region 2 5-A teams (and fans) are great. I would say that McMinn, Oak Ridge, and Ooltewah have the biggest fan support out there. I will agree that Riverdale has a HUGE HUGE fan factor (I saw them play Oak Ridge in the playoffs and the noise they produced was ungodly!). But, McMinn has HUGE HUGE HUGE parental support (those yellow jugs...GREAT) and their student section (TRIBEGUYS) are great. Either way you go, its gonna be loud. thumb

I know i went to Macon Co. last year for a playoff game and there fans were nuts. Smith County's fans were nuts too. I figured it was just cause it was a playoff game, but my friend said it was always like that.

Well I will give props to Macon Co. they were outrageous at that game. But I know that with past senior class of Smith County they had the most school spirit I have ever seen out of a certain class. They made the whole community have SCP (smith county pride). Smith County football games always have a fired up crowd, sometimes to much, DANGEROUS to make a questionable call!! Within our Class I would say they have the most support in Football! Just try to put out that much support into all the sports in SC!!

I 2nd that, the jugs and sometimes cowbells. The parents can be just as loud.

haha i know i am bringin this thread back after a few months of being dead haha but i was reading it and i kept seeing where they mcminn county fans were sayin how good their student section is... they are awful... hands down just terrible i have been to mcminn to see games against ooltewah for football and basketball and they did have some students there but never did they get loud.. they do have a few guys that paint up for games but that is it they do not even travel like when they came to ooltewah this year none of the tribe guys were there.. true fans travel with the team.. so that is why i am going to make my argument for ooltewah they always have tons of fans at away and home games for football and they tailgate before every game as well... also as much as i hate to do this i will give my props to centrals student section the last couple of years they have come on strong but they are a little to abnoxious and do not stop once they have already lost.. haha but still gotta give them their props
