pegasus and gimme3 it's true i haven't seen him play but who really needs to i've heard all i need to hear on here. bout him running all over every team he's faced. 700 sumthing yards in what 3 games. that's impressive to say the least. lets give credit where credit is due. he has defenitly earned in MY OPINION the title of best running back in tennessee so far this year. that could change but as of right now i'm gonna have to say he has the advantage.

anybody that hasn't watched bradley james from mo-west run in the last 2yrs is sure missing a great back in action!! if only coach woods would let him run instead of rotateing backs in every 2 plays,i would bet my house that james would get 1200-1300 yrds this season, i still say he will probably finish with about a 1000. and i would say that ewing will probably be close to that, i hope to see james at the next level, hopefully around the area somewhere, like tusculm or carson-newman. good luck trojans!!!!!!! thumb

How could you say Caldwell isn't the best back in East Tn? Or be a contender.. Name someone who is better than him... You've seen him play and what did you think? Your 1-a safety couldn't catch him WITH an angle on him. Give the kid respect. 3 games for 755 yards is pretty amazing. Ooltewah hasn't played a bad team yet either. He isn't the best running back in the southeast but he is one of the best in the state...

How much running is this kid doing on his own? How many plays has he made by himself? Because obviosly there are some talented linemen that this kid has room to run behind.....Any decent back that has a line as good as they do would also probly have that many yards.....And I've never seen him play so thats why I'm asking if he makes plays on his own.....

He has a young line. NO SENIORS. Which is a good thing in the future. Ooltewah runs an I offense so the offense is mainly based around the tailback(Caldwell). He does have a good line but he helps them out a lot becaue of his speed. I have never in my life seen a running back hit a hole like him. He is only a Jr. and this is the 1st year he has played on a varsity team. Future looks great for him.

If Caldwell is all that good how did they do in the playoffs last year. He is probably an outstanding running back, but what you do after regular season is how I measure things. Great running backs get there team deep in the playoffs.

As far as McFadden at Catholic, he might be a decent small league back, but would he start for most teams. He can't be compared to best backs until he competes in a real league. He did lead them to the championship last year though. There is a difference in leagues though.
