If you're at WB Cheif, then how did you play against Coalfield because I don't recall playing WB in over 10 years. Sounds like b.s.. Yeah the nation will run right over Coalfield, just like last year. Pal, it last year and this is a different team.

i did go to greenback and played my freshmen year when the 4 horsemen ran all over ur buts up and down the field, that was the most funniest games this football player has seen since georgia faced tennessee last year, anyways i hope they get killed by the nation

Wow! You're an idiot. Obviously you haven't seen them play. They are a great program this year and are young. Caldwell is one of the greatest backs in TN right now. So, watch the Owls play before you make illiterate comments!

I think someone made a Boo Boo! If I'm correct Greenback has yet to play either Coalfield or Oneida. If the teams are even remotely similar in personnal, you tend to shoot yourself in the foot when you make assumptions about other teams. Why give them another bullet to shoot. I've seen both of these teams and they both appear to be well-coached, solid, single A football teams that are capable of putting a L by any of the teams in their region on any given Friday night. I'm sure the fire has been stoked enough by the ignorance of one, just hope now that the comment only bites you once, not twice! I'll say this, if Coalfield proves capable of beating the 'Kees, you can be certain that the game against Oneida won't be any easier! ;);)

how is ooltewah overrated? they are 4-0 and have proved the doubters wrong every week, every week somebody says they can't do that just like last week they said ooltewah can't pass, and zach woods goes out and goes 8-10 for 230 yards..just ask this team to do something this week and they will....i do agree with rhea county being overrated and my feelings of this were confirmed after the spanking they got from soddy daisy last week, in preseason this team looked horrible and they weren't very impressive the first couple weeks but the did have a couple wins, and then their true form showed when they got killed, rhea county..very overrated

mnewballer.. You say Rhea County is very overrated!! I would have to disagree Rhea is a good 4A school Soddy is a good 5A school. Just because Rhea Co. lost to Soddy doen't make them overrated. If you think that just losing a game makes a team atomaticallly overrated then you are saying McCallie and Christian Brothers are overrated both with a loss (Not at all am I saying that these 2 schools are overrated.. both of them can live up to the hype night in and not out). Just like these 2 schools Rhea Co. didn't show up to play on that particular night. Rhea is picked to win the region so if that is your definition of overrated then.. I will take overrated!!!

It don't matter who is overrated as long as you are winning and make the playoffs.. thumb

    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
