The only game that will give them trouble will be Greenback. If Sunbright can play their best they could give coalfield a scare.

Better add CAK and Midway to that rufus. And yes Sunbright will give them a scare if allowed to by the defense. The season is not anywhere near a position to guess such things.

For all you Coalfield players on here, drop it now and worry about Jellico.

They may have all been pushovers but there also all 2A and 3A schools, Coalfield has yet to play a single A school.

Freak, Oneida is Class A if you didn't know it. They have played some good teams up to this point, and have played super in spurts and just good enough to win at the other times. The bottom line is they are 4-0 and have a chance to win every game on their schedule. Will they? Who knows, going undefeated takes a lot of focus, a lot of effort, a lot of skill, good coaching and a little luck. Coalfield has wins over an improved Union County team, a good Wartburg team, a tough Oneida team, who will have plenty to do in the Region 2-A title, and Harriman, a very athletic and very improved team. They still have two of their toughest teams left (Greenback and Midway) on the road, two county rivals, Sunbright and Oakdale, and a winless Jellico team left. This particualr Jacket team is very close. They have played very good defense, have been inconsistent on offense (have made plays when they had to and have had sevreal big plays), and have one of the best special teams play in Class A among East Tennessee teams. The coaching has been very good to this point. Right now, Jellico is next and that should be where the focus should be for Coalfield players and coaches. Lets check back in six weeks and see how it ends up. Midway, Oneida, Greenback, Coalfield and CAK all have legitimate shots at winning the region, while Sunbright could play the spoiler role.
