i know the usual teams DCA , CPA ,Boyd , USJ who are some of the other 1a teams with a shot at going to th 'Boro' ?

USJ hasnt been good for a couple of years, most of the good teams are located in middle and eastern TN, Boyd will win state again this year.

Boyd from the east half.

 

Boyd may win it, but the west bracket will be absolutetly loaded as usual.

I know Unaka isn't really compared to CPA and Boyd and all those teams, but i wanted to say they are doing a fine job this year with their 5-0 start. Good Luck to the Rangers!!!!!!!!!!!! thumb

Pick your private. I am sure Mt. Pleasant has a very good team...but they are this year's Cloudland. They will mow down their public competition...but when they meet one of the favorite privates...they will not win.

seriously, i mean other than boyd, cpa, dca...i really dont see any other school really competing that heavily for a state championship....and when i say competing i mean actually playing in the blue cross bowl........

Laugh if you want -- but Lake County will make noise in the playoffs this year. They might not make it past the third round, but they will make a serious run at Murfreesboro next year -- especially with most of the privates gone. They only lose 2 starters from a team that should finish no worse than 7-3 this season.
